Revised MDiv Program

by | Jul 5, 2021 | Graduate Blog | 0 comments

As previously indicated, the RDS has revised its Master of Divinity (MDiv) program, effective July 1, 2021. The MDiv program previously required all students to complete 116 quarter units of specific, 4-unit courses, including (A) those with undergraduate degrees in religious studies or equivalent and (B) those with undergraduate degrees in other disciplines. The Regular, new program requires 108 units for those in category B. However, those in category A may now qualify for the Advanced Standing program that can require as few as 80 units. You will find details of the new, Regular program in the 2021-2022 Graduate Bulletin here, starting on p. 166. If you feel that you may qualify for the new, Advanced Standing program, please email me for a review of your credentials. Although, students who start the MDiv program this year will automatically fall under the provisions of this revised program, current students may email me to request transfer to the jurisdiction of the new bulletin.
