As previously indicated, the RDS has revised its Master of Theological Studies (MTS) program, effective July 1, 2021. Previously, the MTS program required (A) as few as 48 quarter units of specific, 4-unit courses for students with an undergraduate degree in religious studies or equivalent and (B) as many as 80 units for those with undergraduate degrees in other disciplines. The new, Regular program requires 72 units for those in category B. Those in category A may continue to qualify for the new, Advanced Standing program that can require as few as 48 units. You will find details of the new, Regular program in the 2021-2022 Graduate Bulletin here, starting on p. 171. If you feel that you may qualify for the new, Advanced Standing program, please email me for a review of your credentials. Although, students who start the MTS program this year will automatically fall under the provisions of this revised program, current students may email me to request transfer to the jurisdiction of the new bulletin.
